Victoria BC – Day 4

I had a great night’s sleep, and a leisurely morning, reading my book (I’m re-reading The Chronicles of Prydain, which I read as a child, and am re-reading again, and loving again, as an adult).

After lunch, we headed out to visit the Breakwater Market. It was very sweet, with interesting jewelry, soaps, assorted food, and the most delicious fudge I’ve ever tried! But the wind was nuts!

We headed to the Esquimalt Lagoon, right by the ocean. Again, the wind was ferocious – it could almost hold me upright if I leaned backwards!

We headed to the Royal Roads Academy which has one of the most beautiful campuses in Canada. It has been used in many television and movie productions, including the X-Men movies, and the WB show, Smallville.

For dinner we had Fish & Chips, and I went to bed fairly early – I think that crazy wind today really tired me out!
